“Tweet Jukebox Introduction | Tweet Jukebox Review” written and video by Mike Marko.
Are you looking to improve your social media marketing with Twitter?
You could be using Twitter right now… but you’re not getting the results you want or expect? Yet you hear of all the amazing results others are getting?
I was in your place not that long ago. And to be completely honest… “I didn’t get Twitter… at all!” I didn’t understand why I should use it.
Then half a year ago all that turned around. Twitter is now one of my favorite sources of lead generation. The reason was that I figured it out!
That’s why today I’ll be talking about some Twitter marketing tips, specifically on scheduling your tweets using Tweet Jukebox in my Tweet Jukebox review.
Tweet Jukebox Review
The following video gives you an introduction to Tweet Jukebox.
VIDEO: Tweet Jukebox Introduction
I recently stumbled across Tweet Jukebox when I was talking to a colleague of mine. I had been using Tweetdeck prior to that, but the major drawback to Tweetdeck is that you have to keep loading up the tweets for the week.
How Often Should You Tweet?
This is a question I get often from our clients.
When you are starting a Twitter account, I suggest trying to do at least a couple tweets a day… minimum. Be sure to use hashtags to help get traffic from organic searches on Twitter. I use Hastagify.me for my Twitter hashtag research.
Now, to be honest, if you want to start building up your following quicker then you should be tweeting 6-8 times a day. I know, that’s a lot. That’s why I recommend using a tool like Tweet Jukebox that can help by recycling old tweets so you get that constant stream of content. Since I try to target North America with my main Twitter account, I schedule my tweets to hit between 9 AM and 5 PM… people seem to be more active on Twitter at work… go figure.
The designer of Tweet Jukebox tweets an obscene number times during the day. If you want to do that many tweets, you really need to ramp up to it. Not only does it take a lot of work to build up to a ton of tweets without looking like you are repeating the same content over and over (which will get you flagged by Twitter) but it would also probably raise warnings within Twitter if you suddenly went from 0 to 60 tweets per day in the span of a few days.
What You Should Tweet
Now that I broke the news that you need to tweet a lot more than you were expecting, you’re probably wondering, “what should I tweet?”
Well, the first thing you need to determine if the niche for your Twitter account. What do you want your Twitter account to be about? If you try to cover every topic under the sun, then you will not attract very many people… your marketing will not be as effective as if you narrowed down to a specific topic. You could narrow the niche to something like animals, but that is still kind of broad. A pets twitter account would be more effective because you would now potentially get pet owners to follow you. But you would be even more effective if you further narrowed it down to something like cats, or even Siamese cats.
I’m not going to go into too much more detail about the niche… that’s really a discussion on its own. But now that you have a niche, you create content around that niche.
You should have a range of content that would appeal to people interested in that niche:
- Educational content
- Entertaining content
- Humor
- Personal content (your personal experiences)
For personal content, it really helps to connect with your audience when you post pictures of your personal experiences (eg your own Siamese cats in our previous example).
Vary it up as much as possible. For my business oriented accounts, I’ll include motivational quotes as well.
Remember, with a tool like Tweet Jukebox that you only have to create the content once. After that, it runs all on its own and reshuffle once it goes through the playlist and reuses that list.
Final Thoughts On Tweet Jukebox
Twitter can be a powerful platform to market your business. But you need to make sure you keep creating and tweeting content.
Tweet relevant content as often as possible. Tweet Jukebox will help you do that for your Twitter account.
